Established in 1841 and with 15 partners and 140 staff, Tilly Bailey Irvine is one of the North East’s leading full service legal practices.TBI have assembled an expert and multi-disciplinary business law team who have built their experience at national law firms. “I engaged Neill Summerfield and his team because I felt that we were overpaying on Postage DX but did not have either the expertise or the buying influence to achieve a reduction in our expenditure in this area” said Steven Collyer, Practice Director.
In addition to Postage DX, I also asked Neill Summerfield and his team to review our electricity and gas expenditure. We have expanded our business significantly over the last 10 years which has necessitated the acquisition of neighbouring office space as well as establishing new offices across the North East. We are currently supplied through 17 electricity meter points and 5 gas meter points across 5 locations all with different suppliers, contract rates and end dates.
The time element of monitoring renewal dates on 22 supplies, the tendering process itself and the re-negotiation of contracts all impacted significantly on our office team and notably Carmel Clarke, our Office Manager. This process is now managed by the Expense Reduction Analysts team leaving us to focus on growing our business. “When first asked to work with Neill Summerfield and his team I was very unsure about the whole thing and especially the management time which I would need to invest. However 95% of the work required to achieve the cost reductions was carried out off site.” Carmel Clarke, Office Manager. “I was kept informed at every stage of the process and retained control over key supplier decisions. The process is transparent and the savings delivered are auditable.”
“We have been greatly impressed by the speed, efficiency and results facilitated by Expense Reduction Analysts. Neill Summerfield and his team are highly professional, personable and of the highest integrity.” Carmel Clarke, Office Manager.
